Welcome to Goodrington School
Goodrington is a small, well-run independent school with a warm friendly atmosphere that enables pupils to enjoy their education. There are five classes in the main school, each one small enough to ensure that every pupil receives individual attention as needed.
The school, which was first opened in the 1930s, is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential area of Hornchurch and has a large garden for games and play. The hall is used by the Nursery class, and for morning assemblies and plays.
We take pupils from 3 to 11 years of age and prepare them for entrance either to state secondary or to independent schools, in accordance with the wishes of parents and the ability of the child.
We are conscious that education is a partnership between pupils, school and parents and are, therefore, pleased to welcome parents into school whenever they wish to discuss their child’s progress.
Our curriculum covers Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Best wishes,
